If interested, please check out the interview I did with the Fedora Project's Máirín Duffy.  Máirín is a graphic designer who has been employed by Red Hat for 9 years now.  She has worked on User Experiences, User Interfaces, and website design on many projects for both Red Hat and Fedora.  She was the primary designer behind the Fedora Installer (Anaconda) redesign that landed in Fedora 18.  In the interview she tells about her history with Red Hat, Fedora, graphics design, preferred hardware and graphics software, etc.
